Starfest 2008 -- Marriott Tech Center, I-25 at Belleview, Denver. Star Fest is the modern day super-version of the original Star Con, a fan-run Star Trek convention which debuted in Denver in the late 1970s. Today, its original founding fangirl, KathE Walker, and hubby Steve, have masterminded the con into one of the best Media Cons in the nation - and one of the last that's privately run. Star Fest has expanded its realm, with the tagline "Hollywood Comes to Denver," but we know that it's heart is still wrapped in Trekkie goodness and for that, we are thankful! THIS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MISSED! If you've been there - you know. If you haven't.... what is your PROBLEM? If you've seen a Star Trek convention portrayed on a sitcom.... well, that's pretty much dead on. LOL. We love Starfest! Website: http://www.starland.com
